Weaving Connections teaches workshops in coil and wrap technique, triaxial bamboo weave, twining, and rattan and vine basketry among others. Kim teaches traditional and local fibre identification, harvest, preparation and use, string making, natural dyes and more.
Oval based Baskets
A weekend workshop where you will learn how to weave an oval based basket with a handle. This workshop is best suited to experienced basket weavers. Be nourished by nature, as we gather amidst the peaceful surrounds of Basket Swamp for this four day Autumn camp to weave, dye wools and natural fibres around the camp fire.
A sacred space will also be created as a quiet space in which to share stories, oracle reading and indulge in self care with time for stillness, yoga, intentional journeying and journalling throughout the creative process.
